- Received Excellence in Technology Development Award for the technology titled “A Cloud-Integrated, Low-Cost Intelligent Motor Health Monitoring System” at IIT Indore in 2026.
- Received Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti Outstanding Contribution Award for Academic Excellence 2025 from Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata.
- One of my PhD students received the Grid-India Power System Award (GIPSA) in 2024 for his work on “Data-driven analytics for real-time monitoring of power systems using synchrophasor technology”. This award is given to acknowledge outstanding research in the power system domain.
- Received Excellence in Research Award for the paper titled “Real-Time Event Detection based on Weibull Distribution Using Synchrophasor Measurements for Enhanced Situational Awareness” at IIT Indore in 2023.
- Founder Chair of the executive committee of IEEE PES chapter of IEEE MP Section for 2022 and 2023.
- Vice-chair of the executive committee of IEEE PES/IAS Joint chapter of IEEE Bombay Section for 2021.
- Received IETE Technomedia Award 2018 for Young Women in Engineering.
- One of my PhD students received the POSOCO Power System Award in 2018 for his work on “Power quality monitoring in emerging power systems using adaptive and intelligent techniques”. This award is given to the top 15 PhD theses across the country by Power System Operation Corporation (POSOCO), a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (POWERGRID), and Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi.
- Received best paper award for the paper titled “Tunable-Q Wavelet Transform and Dual Multiclass SVM for Online Automatic Detection of Power Quality Disturbances” at IIT Indore in 2017.
- Elevated to the grade of IEEE Senior Member in May 2015.
- Served as an Independent Director of M.P. Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Ltd. (MPPKVVCL) for two tenures from May 2015 to May 2021.
- Our paper titled “Impacts of G2V and V2G power on electricity demand profile” received the best paper award at the 2014 IEEE International Electric Vehicle Conference (IEEE ICVE 2014) held in Florence, Italy.
